Our modern laboratories provide the perfect environment to develop your career and enjoy a great work-life balance, and our knowledgeable team has access to an ever-expanding range of smart veterinary diagnostic equipment.

This includes our BEAR machine, PCR, sequencing and validated salmonella vaccine differentiation testing tools, all of which allow us to conduct precise and cutting-edge tests for our wide clientbase. 

With laboratory sites in Edinburgh and York, (which we like to think are two of the best locations in the UK), you’ll never be short of things to see and do in your downtime.  

Our Edinburgh practice is conveniently close to the airport, and our York premises are in a beautiful village approximately five miles north of the city – we can even see the ruins of Sheriff Hutton Castle from our office!

We also actively encourage our team to pursue further development opportunities, from technical qualifications and leadership and motivational courses to mental health first aid training and opportunities to enhance their IT skills. The sky's the limit for our team!

Although our team is split between two sites, we’re like one big family.

Our two labs stay connected through their shared reporting and management system, and work together to share workloads and help with our speedy turnaround of samples.

From team building activities and quizzes to charity raffles and Christmas parties, we love to get together and have some fun outside of work. 

If you’re a foodie, you can also look forward to our monthly breakfast clubs, where everyone gets together to enjoy breakfast before starting work.
